Mrs. Gigantelli, HCC Librarian would like to share this information about the Strathmore Public Library programs:

Friday Fun Film – Friday, October 5 (1:00pm-2:30pm) – Strathmore Municipal Library (85 Lakeside Blvd.). We will be showing An American Tail.  Rated G  At the end of the film we will draw for one lucky participant to take the movie home with them!  Participants will be treated to popcorn and drinks!  This program is free to attend and no registration is required.

Halloween Costume Exchange – Friday, October 12 (3:30pm-7:00pm).  Strathmore Municipal Library (85 Lakeside Blvd.)  Do you have old Halloween costumes kicking around the house?  Want to exchange for something new without spending a fortune?  Join us for our 5th Annual Halloween Costume Exchange.  Participants are welcome to drop off new or used (cleaned) Halloween costumes & accessories at the library from October 1-12.  Tickets will be given for each item brought in to be used at the exchange on October 12.  Don’t have a costume to exchange?  Participants may purchase costumes for a donation from 6:00pm-7:00pm the day of the exchange.  Suggested donation will be $2.00 per item; however, all donations will be accepted.

Halloween Spooktacular – Friday, October 26 (1:00pm-3:00pm) – Strathmore Municipal Library (85 Lakeside Blvd.).  Carve out some boooootiful memories at the library’s Halloween Spooktacular!  Halloween games, crafts, and challenges await little ghosts & goblins of all ages!  Wear your costume to enter the Library Halloween Costume Contest starting at 2:00pm.  Warning!  You just may go batty at this free program!  Be sure to drop in for a spell!
